🤬 We get those annoying emails too, asking if we'd like to get a list of the Chip Clip Manufacturers Expo held in Las Vegas or the list of Left-handed Soccer Players in West Virginia or the list of Registered Nurses who wear Crocs. Ok, it's Friday and I'm feeling ornery - I'll stop LOL! We even get emails asking if we want to purchase our own members' list, like the one below. You might have received one too. Please know these are bogus - we never give out or sell our members information. Just delete and block those emails. Don't engage them with a reply or you'll end up on tons of other spammy email lists.Thank you to our members who pass these types of concerns along to us! Congratulations to Wood County Schools Teacher of the Year, Jennifer Ratliff! Two members of the Chamber's Schools & Business Committee (Gwen Crum with WVU Wood County WVU Extension Service and Jill Parsons with the Chamber of Commerce of the Mid-Ohio Valley) had the honor of sitting on this year's selection committee. After reviewing over 40 applications of wonderful teachers, the committee narrowed it down to 5 to interview. You want to talk about impact and dedication? We got to hear amazing stories from the finalists about the innovative ways our teachers are impacting local students.
