We are hoping for 20 artists to participate in Chalk the Block over a 3 week period beginning the week of October 5. Artists will work on squares in front of the Art Center buildings and along Market Street, in front of our parking/Pooch Park.Artists will be scheduled to create primarily on Tuesdays thru Thursdays. Photos will be taken of each finished work.
A 48 count chalk pastel set will be provided for those 20 artists.
We would like to offer a Judges Choice and People's Choice award in both an adult and student category. Adults 18 and up. Students being in middle or high school. Two will win $50 Visa cards and two will win $25 cards.

Photos of each of the pieces will be posted on Facebook when all have been completed. The People's Choice winners will be determined by the number of LIKES. The Arts and Culture Committee of Downtown PKB will select the other award winners.
