Looking for a fun, competitive, sports-oriented way to get involved with the MOV Chamber?
Think your company could win a volleyball or dodgeball match against another Chamber member?
What if we bowled against one another one evening?
How about a 5K scavenger hunt in Downtown Parkersburg?
Maybe a spirited round of trivia or euchre is your idea of a fun sports competition?

The "Chamber Challenge Cup" committee is looking for fun, competitive and sports-minded folks to help organize this year's competitions. Our committee chair Mike Burdette with Proforma Web & Print Solutions has agreed to lead the group again and he is hoping you'll join us.

A Challenge Cup planning meeting will be held on Friday, January 27 at 12pm - 1pm at the Chamber office, 501 Avery Street, 9th Floor, Parkersburg

Please feel free to bring your lunch.

Chamber Champions Committee

The Chamber Champions are Ambassadors that serve as representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of the Mid-Ohio Valley. The goal of the Chamber Champions is to facilitate contact with existing Chamber members and work to identify new members through their contact efforts.

The Chamber Champions/Membership committee is scheduled to meet Wednesday, February 8 at 12:00pm at I Don’t Care Eatery and Spirits (a potential new member). Following our lunch meeting, and if your time allows, we will be visiting some members around the Parkersburg area.

The Government Relations Committee is coordinating MOV Chamber Day at the Capital on Wednesday, March 15.

All Chamber members are welcome to join us!

The registration deadline is Monday, March 6.
There is no cost for Chamber members to attend.
Lunch is complimentary, and has been sponsored by our friends at First Energy and the Polymer Alliance Zone.

The 2017 Legislative Session is only 7 days in, but already over 862 bills have been introduced in the House and Senate.

And the Governor's proposals to close the $500 million budget gap are getting much discussion. To quote Phil Kabler of the Charleston Gazette: "every line-item in the budget has a constituency" -
